IC 63, also known as the Ghost Nebula or the Ghost of Cassiopeia, is a reflection and emission nebula located about 610 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia. It is associated with the bright star Gamma Cassiopeiae and is characterized by its cometary shape and the influence of radiation from the star. IC 63 is a fascinating celestial object that showcases the beauty of star formation and the interaction between stars and surrounding gas and dust.
